Join Us!

We act as an up-to-date and credible source of information on organisations in the copper, molybdenum, nickel and zinc value chains that are committed to responsible practices at their sites.

WHY JOIN?

We connect organizations throughout the metals supply chains with each other as well as interested stakeholders. Through collaboration and dialogue, we can contribute to collective goals.

There are three ways to engage with us: as a participant, a site assured against the Joint Due Diligence Standard for Copper, Lead, Molybdenum, Nickel and Zinc, or as a Partner. The benefits for each are outlined in the table below.

BECOME A PARTICIPANT OR PARTNER

Become a participant

Sites that participate in our Assurance Process are committed to responsible production practices. Production means more than just mining. For us, production refers to the handling and processing of metals at every point in their value chains.

To join as a participant, email info@coppermark.org.  See the current list of participants here.

For information about our fees, see here.

Get assessed against the Joint Due Diligence Standard

Sites that need to demonstrate due diligence on mineral supply chains, e.g., to meet responsible sourcing requirements of the London Metals Exchange, may use the Joint Due Diligence Standard.

For an assessment against the Joint Due Diligence Standard, email info@coppermark.org.  See the current list of sites assessed against the Joint Due Diligence Standard here.

For information about our fees, see here.

Partner with us

Our partners use or rely on the principle covered metals (copper, molybdenum, nickel, zinc) in their business and have made a public commitment to the Copper Mark’s vision and objectives. They have expressed a preference for metals producers assured to have responsible practices, recognising the importance of the sustainable production and sourcing of the principle covered metals as part of the low carbon transition. Our current partners are publicly identified with their name and logo on our website here.

In order to become a Partner, interested organizations are requested to:

  • Submit a formal request, including a statement of the organization’s commitment.
  • Agree to have their name and logo placed on our website.

Participation is free of charge.

To become a partner, email info@coppermark.org.  See the current list of partners here.

Disclaimer

Please note that, in assessing applications in respect of the Copper Mark Assurance Process and / or assessments against the Joint Due Diligence Standard, the Copper Mark undertakes due diligence at site and entity level.
