The final public consultation is open for the Consolidated Mining Standard Initiative (CMSI) as the initiative’s four partners advance towards consolidating their responsible mining standards into one global standard, accessible to any company with a commitment to mine responsibly.
The partners—the Copper Mark, International Council on Mining and Metals, Mining Association of Canada, and World Gold Council—have opened the final public consultation period on the draft Consolidated Standard, Assurance Process and Claims Policy, guided by ISEAL’s Code of Good Practice. The public consultation is open from 8 October to 17 November 2025.
